LONG ISLAND RAILROAD UPDATE - HILLSIDE AVENUE

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT THE VILLAGE RECEIVED FROM THE LONG ISLAND RAILROAD

Due to Father’s Day, we are moving up our work program for this weekend at Hillside Avenue. It will now take place tomorrow night (Friday the 16^th) at 10pm until approximately 5am Sunday morning (the 18^th). We will be performing a road closure at the Hillside Avenue grade crossing in East Williston/Williston Park to perform a number of repairs to the crossing. Traffic will be closed in both directions while we perform this work. We currently have VMS signage up at the location to advise motorists and pedestrians about the closure and MTAPD will be onsite to assist with the closure and protect the crossing as the work progresses. This is a continuation of the work that we performed this past weekend Saturday June 10^th - Monday June 12^th.

Trains on the Oyster Bay branch will run 20-25 minutes later than usual.
