New York State has a rent/utility assistance program eligibility/details can be found at

https://nysrenthelp.otda.ny.gov/  First come first serve.  For questions or help you can call the NYS ERAP Call Center, 7 days a week between 8am and 7pm  1-844-691-7368.  Just became aware of this information but is listed as noted first come first served monies are limited.  Go to website or call to determine if eligible.
